Pro Wrestling has always held a certain fascination. You know you’re looking at a carnival that’s basically a bizarre soap opera for men and adolescent boys, but in all honesty, that’s kind of the attraction. Wrestling has serious staying power too, while it has it’s up and downs it always has a core audience that is obsessed with the product. If you’re in doubt check out any random wrestler’s inevitably exhaustive Wikipedia change. The fandom easily rivals other stereotypically nerdy pastimes like Star Trek or video games, but with wrestling you’ve got the bonus of always having some great eye candy hanging around. That’s what we’re interested in today, as we count down the all time hottest women of wrestling.


Brooke Adams

Brooke is a Texas girl who made her WWE debut in 2007. She was starring within the ECW Brand with Kelly Kelly and Layla El in Extreme Expose. In November of 2007, Brooke was released from her WWE contract and has since returned to modeling.

Terri Runnels

Terri got her start in “The Business” as a make-up artist for CNN’s Larry King Live and also moonlighted for Jim Crockett Promotions, later purchased by Ted Turner and renamed World Wrestling Championship. She then came onto the scene as a manager. In 2004, Terri left WWE to spend more time with her daughter. She has since spent years working with countless children’s charities.

Maria Kanellis

Maria made her WWE debut in 2007. She has posed in Playboy and participated in the first ever Bra & Panties Gauntlet Match.

Melina Perez

Melina Perez

This former Miss California and Nike Model made her WWE debut in 2004. She has been one of the few WWE Divas that has expressed a large disinterest in posing for Playboy.

Nidia

She may be retired from wrestling, but this Texas-born beauty gave it a good run. After starting in the WWE back in 2002, Nidia quickly made a name for herself around the ring. Her career highlight might been winning Tough Enough with Maven Huffman.

Bella Twins

The Bella Twins, Brianna and Nicole, made their WWE debt in April of 2009. The two got their start in 2007 in the Florida Championship Wrestling leagues.



Victoria

Victoria got her start after a chance meeting with WWE Star Chyna, who encouraged Victoria to become a wrestler. After only 4 months in a developmental league, she entered the ring as Victoria. She has held the WWE Women’s Championship twice in her career. In January of 2009 she announced her retirement from wrestling via her MySpace page. She returned to WWE for one night in April 2009, when she participated in the 25 Divas battle royal at WrestleMania XXV. She outlasted the five other former WWE divas before being eliminated by the Bella Twins.

Molly Holly

Molly made her wrestling debut in 1999 as Miss Maddness, alongside Randy Savage’s valet. After some structure changes, she was released from WCW but then signed by WWF in 2000. After several years, her character, Molly Holly, shifted toward more of a villain role. Molly retired from WWE in 2005.

Mickie James

Mickie James

Mickie made her WWE debut in October 2005, when she was placed in a storyline with Trish Stratus. Mickie’s gimmick was that of Stratus’ biggest fan turned obsessed stalker, an storyline which lasted almost a year. She won her first WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 22, a title she has held a total of four times.



Joy Giovanni

Joy made her debut in WWE back in 2004 when she finished 3rd in the Divas Search competition. Joy is not only a wrestler, but a glamour model and actress as well. On screen, Joy portrayed the girlfriend of wrestler Big Show, but in real life she is a married mother of 2, making her a legitimate MILF.

Christy Hemme

This diva has so much more up her sleave than just wrestling. An actress/model/singer, Christy is currently wrestling for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, although she is injured at the moment. Christy is also well-known for her Playboy spreads and covers.

Lita

Lita

Arguably one of the most famous female wrestlers of all times, Amy ‘Lita’ Dumas has never shied away from controversy. After her infamous off-screen relationship with Matt Hardy ended in her tumultuous affair with Adam ‘Edge’ Copeland, Lita lost a ton of fan support. Lita is retired from wrestling and currently working in the music industry.

Maryse is a 26 year old wrestler in the WWE. She is currently the reigning WWE Diva Champion, and after an April 13th trade Maryse made her RAW debut against the likes of Jillian, Brie Bella and Kelly Kelly.

Jillian got her start wrestling in the Ohio Valley Wrestling and moved into WWE Smackdown back in 2005. In 2007, Jillian was traded to Raw. She most recently competed in a Diva battle royale, which unfortunately, she didn’t win.

This Chicago born beauty first came to wrestling back in the 90’s when she debuted in WCW. Kimberly shot to fame with the help of her skills in the ring, as well as her poses for Penthouse. Page actually has a brain too, having graduated in 1991 from Northwestern University with her Masters in Advertising.

Kristal is an actress/model who is best known for her work within the WWE and Smackdown. Before Marshall joined the WWE in 2004, she was a beauty pageant competitor, going as far as competing in the Miss California competition.

Layla won the WWE Diva Search back in 2004 and this British born beauty hasn’t slowed down since. Layla has lent her talents to many projects, including dancing for the Miami Heat and Kanye West.

Lillian Garcia may not get in the ring to wrestle, but that doesn’t lessen her value to the wrestling world. Born and bred in Spain, she came to wrestling as a ring announcer, and she is currently the lead announcer for WWE Raw.

McDougal participated in WWE’s Diva Search in 2004, shockingly getting cut in the last round. She’s been a Playboy centerfold and Playmate of the Year.

Born as Barbara Jean Blank, Kelly Kelly first premiered in the ECW ring back in 2006, later becoming the youngest Diva on the WWE roster. This 22-year-old blond bombshell has talents that expand outside of the wrestling ring having appeared in music videos, as well as on a few TV shows.

This WWE Diva may have caused some controversy within the WWE, but that doesn’t make her any less hot. After being released from her wrestling contract for the crime of having an unplanned pregnancy, Dawn Marie decided she wasn’t going anywhere without a fight. She filed a lawsuit against the wrestling company and eventually won.

Ashley’s talents reach far beyond the wrestling ring, which has helped her compete on Survivor: China. She has also been named Miss Hawaiian Tropic USA.

Alicia signed with WWE in 2006 and was assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling. She then moved on to Florida Championship Wrestling, before making it to the big time with Smackdown. She has since had a stint with ECW and had a second go round with Smackdown.

Carmella Decesare may have only spent a short time in the WWE, but she certainly made an impact. After coming in second place to Christy Hemme in the Diva Search, WWE decided to also keep Carmella. After a short losing-streak, she was released from her contract. Decesare likes to fight outside the ring as well, getting arrested in Cleveland, Ohio for fighting with a woman in a bar. She’s married to NFL quarterback and Shawshank Redemption prison rapist look alike Jeff Garcia.

A regular in Playboy and GoDaddy commercials, Candace Michelle is one of the more well-known faces in wrestling. In 2007, Candace became the first Diva Search contestant to win a WWE Title.

Stephanie McMahon

Daughter of WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and WWE CEO Linda McMahon, Stephanie is wrestling royalty. Stephanie is married to Wrestling Mega Star Triple H and is currently the General Manager for the Raw brand.

Eve Torres

Eve Torres was the winner of the 2007 Diva Search and currently wrestles for WWE SmackDown. She’s one of the geekier women in wrestling, with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from USC.

Gail Kim

Although Gail is currently signed with the WWE, she has also wrestled with Total Nonstop Action. Gail is best friends in real life with former Diva Stacey Keibler, who was by Gail’s side when she ruptured a breast implant and was sidelined for 2 weeks. That’s a hell of a way to go on the DL.

Michelle McCool

Michelle came to the WWE back in 2004, when she competed in the Diva Search. McCool recently made it all the way to the Final Five in a Diva Battle Royale, but was simultaneously eliminated with Mickie James.



Sable

Sable joined wrestling back in 1994, becoming one of the first Divas in the WWF. Sable returned to the newly renamed WWE in 2003, where she was involved in such story lines as her feud with Torrie Wilson as well as portraying Vince McMahon’s mistress. Sable recently left wrestling to spend more time with her family.

Although Rebecca DiPietro isn’t currently involved in wrestling, she is still one of the most gorgeous women to come through the WWE. Her short stay in WWE may have been controversial due to her affair with Batista, but she was always a great interviewer!

Miss ElizabethMiss Elizabeth is probably the most iconic woman in wrestling history. Miss Elizabeth is best known for managing her husband Randy Savage. The two staged a wedding as part of a WWF storyline, despite having already been married for years. Miss Elizabeth died tragically at the age of 43 in 2003 in her home and is buried in Frankfort, Ky.

Torrie WilsonTorrie Wilson may be retired from wrestling, but few female wrestlers can comptete with her very successful 8 year run in the industry. Torrie won several titles, including the Golden Thong award and Miss Galaxy!


Trish Stratus

Stratus started her career as a fitness model before getting involved with wrestling. She went on to win seven WWE women’s titles, the most in WWE history. She retired in 2006 and has spent her time hosting various television and award shows.
